Q: What does this software do?
A: Fur Shop Pro is a software package designed specifically for fur retailers to maintain
customer records, inventory, vault, individual customers accounts. It also has integrated
bookkeeping with cash receipts account payable and extensive reporting capabilities.
Q: What type of computer do I need for this program to work?
A: Basically, any contemporary PC with at least 256Mb of RAM and any Pentium
900Mhz processor will do. Program will take about 40-60Mb on your hard drive.
Q: What kind of printer do I have to purchase to use with this software.
A: Basically, any printer, that works for Windows will work for Fur Shop Pro.
Q: How many different printers I can use with Fur Shop Pro?
A: As many as you need. Fur Shop Pro will allow you to setup each individual
report or receipt to go to a specific printer.
Q: Do you also sell computers and hardware?
A: No, we don't sell computers.
Q: Does Fur Shop Pro support bar coding?
A: Yes. Program can print almost all types of bar codes. In order for the program to read
the bar code, you'll need bar code scanner.
Q: Where can I buy bar code scanner?
A: We recommend you to go to American Microsystems, Ltd. website and
look for 2000/2002 model. This is the least expensive yet simple and robust scanner that we know. We use
it ourselves.
Q: Can Fur Shop Pro work on more then one computer?
A: Yes. Fur Shop Pro is designed to work in network and you may
share the same server database from multiple client PCs.
Q: I have plenty of my old forms. May I keep using them with Fur Shop Pro?
A: Yes! Fur Shop Pro printouts are completely customizable and you can print on any
type and format of paper and layout fields on the form any way you like.
Q: How do I convert my existing database to Fur Shop Pro?
A: When you become a Fur Shop Pro .Net member we will import your
current database into Fur Shop Pro and help customizing layouts for your
receipts and forms.
